Don’t Feel Sorry For Me

Don’t feel sorry for me.

Don’t feel sorry for me because I have been given so many amazing gifts. I grew up in a home with loving parents and siblings and I met a wonderful man and we had four precious kids who gave us three beautiful grandsons. Throughout my life people have treated me so well and every day I experience amazing things. I see kindness in the form of a beautiful card, a smiling visitor or caring hands that help me function. I’ve enjoyed more amazing candlelit dinners in the past year than I’ve had in my whole life.

I think I will be able live the rest of my life with the happiness that has filled my heart up to this point. Everything else feels like a bonus.

So please don’t feel sorry for me. I have it all.

  1. Yes you do…..you have a wonderful family and a wonderful God!!!! You have shared that family with me and for that I am grateful!

  2. You are amazing!! I call you St. Rosemary. I only hope that when my days come to an end I can be as grateful, as you. You remind me of my mother. She had said to me when she found out that she only had 10-14 days left on earth….
    It’s not so bad.
What grace and love you both process

  3. Rosemary, I am praying for you. Ecclesiastes 3:11: He has made everything in His time, also he has put eternity onto man’s heart yet so that he cannot find what God has done from the beginning to the end.

  4. Rosemary,

You are such an amazing woman. I hope and pray I learn from you and your positive outlook.

  5. Rosemary,

  7. Amazing…that is what you are :). You helped me today and you didn’t even know it. I had to go in for a routine medical test where I had to have an IV. You may not know it but I hate needles….I can get through anything if I know how many times they are going to poke me??? Well anyway I am laying there thinking….thinking…thinking- when are they going to put this IV in? Your sweet face came to mind…and I GOT OVER IT!!! Really- you have helped me so much in the last few months. Stay in the moment…live my life….see what is really important. Thank you sweet friend! Chris

  8. It would be wonderful if everyone could be so appreciative of what they have as you are! To be thankful for the little, everyday things is a blessing in itself. Through your unselfishness, you make me realize even more of how I have been blessed. Faith, family and friends, those three are the most important things in life. Thank you Rosemary for sharing your faith and those who love you the most.
